The event is held at Shedden Hill Car
Park in Torquay, which is a central and very convenient location just
off Torquay seafront, near to the Torquay Hi-Flyer Balloon.
Plenty of other attractions are within easy reach of the site, such as
Torquay Town Centre for shopping, Living Coasts (Torquay's Coastal Zoo)
as well as being adjacent to Torquay's main seafront beach, so the
whole family can visit and everyone will have something to
do!
Getting here is easy as Stagecoach's
frequent
service 12 between Newton Abbot and Brixham passes very close to the
rally
site, as does First's X80 service from Plymouth and Totnes -
look out for the Balloon. Alternatively, we are
also only a few
minutes' walk from Torquay railway station. However, please
note that Shedden Hill Car Park itself will not be available for car
parking on the day.
For those wanting to come for the weekend
then
there is plenty of accommodation available in the Bay, with a Premier
Inn being right next to the Rally Site (Postcode: TQ2 5HE), not to
mention plenty of hotels
and guest houses of all descriptions. Please do book these
early to avoid disappointment - unfortunately the Rally Organisers
can't arrange this for you! A quick search using your
internet
search engine or a call to the Tourist Information Centre (01803 211
211) will be able to assist you with this.
